Become a First Aid Instructor
Be part of a team that provides the highest level of quality training and education in the first aid industry. First Aid International™ specialise in training first aid instructors and assessors to deliver Emergency First Aid, HSE Approved First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid, Sports and Activity First Aid and Automated External Defibrillator training and assessment. The First Aid International Instructor development course and examination will prepare you to instruct and assess First Aid International’s full range of courses. Instructor training can either take place at our International Headquarters in the East Midlands or onsite at your premises. Once you are a certified FAI Instructor, you will be eligible to instruct and assess for an approved First Aid International training centre. All FAI registered instructors and assessors are kept up to date with any new or revised protocols such as resuscitation guidelines or first aid procedures. |

Cross over to First Aid International Are you already a first aid instructor? If so you could crossover to FAI and benefit from the national network of training centres and support that FAI provides. You need to take the FAI Instructor Orientation Course with a certified FAI Instructor Trainer and pass the Instructor Examination. This two day programme will familiarise you with FAI’s learning methodology, materials and standards and procedures. You will also receive all the required resources to instruct and assess FAI courses. There are four Instructor levels: Instructor Instructors are certified to train and assess students in the First Aid International suite of courses. Instructor Trainer Instructor Trainers are certified to train students and conduct both the Instructor Development and Orientation Course. Instructor Examiner Instructor Examiners are Instructor Trainers that are certified to conduct the FAI Instructor Examination at the conclusion of an IDC or IOC. Examiners are experienced Instructors who are invited to be trained as examiners by First Aid International. Course Director An FAI Course Director is certified to train and assess new Instructor Trainers and Examiners. This level is the highest achievable qualification with FAI and is by invitation of the FAI Course Director Review Board. |
